"Nature, Skies, Stone or Fire" -- Paul Adams, born and bred
in West Sussex, has spent most of his life living in and around Chichester.
He has a Fine Arts Degree and has been painting ever since he can remember
and has recently taken the decision to become a full-time artist in Dorset.
He and his family moved to Litton Cheney in Dorset in April 2002. Paul is
greatly influenced by the impressionists and by painters like Turner, Constable
and Cézanne.
Paul spends around thirty per cent of his time just looking around to gain inspiration. He cycles around the countryside in search of such inspiration, and often paints at the scene rather than from film like the impressionists. He says: "I feel that this way I can capture a greater sense of natural light and feeling. I prefer using oils, as this allows me greater freedom of expression".
Paul has had several successful exhibitions in and around West Sussex and at present he is exhibiting in Dorset.
As well as painting landscapes far and wide, Paul makes Cards and Prints , assisted by his adored wife, Karin, who takes charge of the technological side! He also takes on Commissions.
